A ChatGPT Ads agency sets up and runs a brand's campaigns on OpenAI's ad platform: account verification, context hints, ad creative at the volume the platform rewards, conversion tracking, and weekly optimization. The account always belongs to the advertiser, because the platform has no manager account; the agency is invited in with a role. Seven agencies that buyers find for the term sell the service as of October 2026: Index Lab, Focal, Lapis, GPT Ads AI, One Day, LeadGulls and searchads.agency. Only GPT Ads AI publishes its fee, a retainer from 5,000 dollars a month. The others quote after a call, and every one of them adds the ad budget, paid to OpenAI, on top.
What a ChatGPT Ads agency does
The work is the same as on any paid channel, with three parts that are specific to ChatGPT. Placements are targeted with context hints, plain-language descriptions of the conversation an ad belongs in, so the research that feeds them is prompt research rather than keyword lists. The platform's own guidance asks for around a hundred ads per campaign, which turns creative into a volume job with tight limits of 24 characters for a title and 48 for the description. And conversion tracking runs on OpenAI's own pixel and Conversions API, which is new code on the advertiser's site.
The fourth part is the one that separates an agency from a freelancer with a login: verification. The advertiser's own legal entity has to pass it, in a country where ChatGPT Ads is open, before anything runs. No agency can lend its account or its eligibility. How agency access works covers the roles.

Index Lab
Index Lab builds, launches and manages ChatGPT Ads campaigns in the UK, the US and the 31 European markets, inside an advertiser account the client owns. Campaigns open with a hundred ads, context hints written from the same prompt research the agency runs for organic AI visibility, and conversion tracking that reports from the first day. A campaign goes live within 48 hours of kickoff once the account is verified and the creative approved. The ad budget starts at 450 euros a month, OpenAI's own minimum for a euro-billed account, and is paid directly to OpenAI; the management fee is set on a call once the category and scale are known. For brands that would rather run it themselves, the ChatGPT Ads Cockpit is Index Lab's self-serve platform for managing campaigns.
Best fit: brands that want paid and organic AI visibility worked from one piece of research, in the UK, US or Europe. See the service.
Focal
Focal describes itself as running LLM ads end to end, across ChatGPT and other models with ad inventory: placement strategy, creative, campaigns and reporting, with the client approving strategy. Its homepage title addresses UK and US brands. Pricing is scoped per client from managed spend, creative volume and the number of models, and is not published. Its software product is in closed beta behind a waitlist, which the site puts at over 1,500 businesses. Futureproof, the free community on Skool run by Focal's founder, gives members early access to it. The site shows a logo row and no named case study.
Best fit: brands that want to test ChatGPT alongside other AI models from one team.
Lapis
Lapis is a creative and campaign platform for Google, Meta and LinkedIn ads, and runs ChatGPT campaigns on a managed plan, where its agents and a dedicated strategist work inside the budget and approval limits the client sets. The ChatGPT plan is priced on request; the self-serve plans on its pricing page cover the other three channels only. Its proof is customer-wide, a G2 rating and a logo row, with no ChatGPT-specific case study on the site.
Best fit: teams already producing ads on Google, Meta or LinkedIn who want ChatGPT added by the same vendor.
GPT Ads AI
GPT Ads AI is a done-for-you ChatGPT Ads agency and the only one here with published prices: 5,000 dollars a month to manage up to 40,000 dollars of monthly ad spend, 9,500 dollars a month up to 150,000, and custom pricing above that, with no percentage of spend. It recommends at least 10,000 dollars a month in media. The site shows three anonymized ChatGPT case studies under NDA, and its larger named results come from a sister agency's full-funnel work. Its headline markets are the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Mexico, with a separate launch offer covering the 63 eligible countries.
Best fit: funded brands with an existing paid program and a five-figure monthly media budget.
One Day
One Day is a full-service digital agency headquartered in Manchester, with offices in London, Warsaw, Paris and Berlin, and offers ChatGPT advertising as one of its services. Its ChatGPT page describes the channel in general terms and shows no ChatGPT campaign results or pricing.
Best fit: brands already working with One Day on other channels.
LeadGulls
LeadGulls runs a dedicated ChatGPT Ads agency page alongside paid search and social, serving the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. It shows one anonymized ChatGPT case study and describes itself as an official OpenAI Ads partner. Pricing is not published.
Best fit: English-speaking B2B advertisers looking for demo and lead volume.
searchads.agency
searchads.agency is a Vienna-based Google Ads agency with a German-language ChatGPT Ads service for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It starts with a check of whether the audience is reachable at all, since ads only show on the Free and Go plans, then sets up and runs the campaign on a limited test budget. No ChatGPT pricing or results are published.
Best fit: German-speaking brands that want a cautious test run by a search specialist.
Five questions to ask any agency
The channel is young enough that most agency pages describe it more than they show it. Five questions sort the field quickly:
- Will the campaign run in an account my business owns? The only right answer is yes.
- Can you show a live ChatGPT campaign you run today, with its numbers, under NDA if needed?
- How many ads do you launch with, and who writes the context hints?
- Which of my markets can you verify and run, and do you know the categories closed there?
- Is your fee fixed, a share of spend, or both, and is the ad budget billed by OpenAI directly to me?
The eligibility guide answers question four for your own business, and the costs guide sets the budget side of question five.
